Final Touches
We're at week 11 and my Genius hour project is finally wrapping up. It's been an amazing experience and I've learned so much about cooking along the way. This week has been quite uneventful in terms of actual things I can report back to you guys. I spent the majority of March break trying to finalize the product and make sure everything is working and looking as good as possible. In addition to that, I've spent a fair amount of time on my TED talk which has been a really cool experience. I've never done a TED talk before, or very many speeches in general, so this was great for getting me out of my comfort zone and trying something new. I finished writing up a general script for myself, now I just have to practice it a few times. I want to try my best to tell a story, rather than just talk about my project. I also want to try my best to just base my TED talk off my notes, rather than read directly off of them. I think it will be a good challenge, but also make the final product that much better. In terms of what's left, I still want to attempt to make some more recipes to show you guys. My cooking has come so far since the beginning of the project and I feel so much more comfortable in the kitchen which is making me really excited to see where I can take this in the future. I just have to continue practicing and improving. I look forward to finalizing my product for all of you to see and adding more delicious recipes along the way. Thanks so much for tuning in, and stay safe!
